It’s Coming….
Look to July 16th 1945, there it begins…
Excuse me a moment friends, I hope you don’t mind if I pull a memory from my thoughts for a moment,
Animals That Live in the Mirror
In one of the volumes of the Lettres edifiantes et curieuses that appeared in Paris sometime during the first half of the eighteenth century, Father Zallinger, of the company of Jesus, mentioned the possibility of compiling a catalog of the il-preliminary listing, he noted that the Fish was an elusive, gleaming creature that no one had ever touched but that many people believed they had seen in the depths of mirrors. Father Zellinger died in 1736, and the work begun by his pen remained unfinished; 150 years later, Herbert Allen Giles, took up the interrupted labor. According to Giles, belief in the Fish is part of a broader myth, which goes back to the legendary age of the Yellow Emperor.
“In those days, the world of mirrors and the world of men were not, as they are now, separate and unconnected. They were, moreover, quite different from one another; neither the creatures nor the colors nor the shapes of the two worlds were the same. The two kingdoms – the specular and the human – lived in peace, and one could pass back and forth through mirrors.
One night, however, the people of the mirror invaded this world. Their strength was great, but after many bloody battles, the magic of the Yellow Emperor prevailed. The Emperor pushed back the invaders, imprisoned them within the mirrors, and punished them by making them repeat, as though in a kind of dream, all the actions of their human victors. He stripped them of their strength and their own shape and reduced them to mere servile reflections. One day, however, they will throw off that magical lethargy.”
Jorge Luis Borges
OK, another one of the Corax rants, but seriously, it just reminded me, replace the mirror with the shadow, perhaps they too are trapped in their victors shape….
We meet, and we put on our masks…
Have you ever had an intimate conversation with your reflection or shadow? Looke din your mirror and seen someone else deep down in there?
Who are you? What name and image do you go by this evening? (Kaia, Drang, Amalia, Harsh, Billy, Scarlet, etc, etc.
Take from it what you will, I just found it interesting. No, I’m not crazy, just wanted to share my crazy thoughts!
Ok, I think I’m starting to see things. The first thing I saw in this pic was a face looming and smiling above the teepees. I personally thought it was an intentional photo manipulation. However, it isn’t, it was just a picture of where this guy lives, nothing is said on his site about a face smiling down.
Does anyone else see it??? I can point it out for you if you need me to.
Let me just say, some people have a stronger will then others, some people are better tricksters, manipulators, some others now not how to handle their emotions, trickling from one emotion to another, unable to interpret their feelings, or attaching to those they see as more stable. Some have no confidence in themselves and fall easily unto those tricksters. Yet then some tricksters hit a wall, they hit those like the Raven, who sees the trick, then stops the continuation of the trick from being fulfilled upon him. Those tricksters who succeed in tricking the Raven may find great reward or horrible karma. Some should be careful about how they proceed,
and how they play the game.
“The blood of the unworthy will run down the walls of the temple and all those who have angered the beast will rue the day of their birth.” – ASB.
All this may sound cryptic to some, but recent events have me thinking….
There is a rumor, that ravens and coyotes will sometimes play together, I have heard the stories.
