Hey Abul,
There is a balm in Gilead
To make the wounded whole;
There is a balm in Gilead
To heal the sin-sick soul.
Some times I feel discouraged,
And think my work’s in vain,
But then the Holy Spirit
Revives my soul again.
There is a balm in Gilead
To make the wounded whole;
There is a balm in Gilead
To heal the sin-sick soul

He has broken us
He has broken us. He has broken us.
He has broken us. He has broken us.
He has broken us. He has broken us.
He has broken us. He has broken us.
He has broken us. He has broken us.
He has broken us. He has broken us.
AVATARS work!!!
WOOOHOOO! I FINALLY got it done…mostly….and with help. grin Just go to your dashboard, go to users, click on your avatar.
Upload your avatar and from then on, when you COMMENT on posts, your chosen picture will come up. Be careful of proportions, cuz it will ‘squish’ pics that are too big.
Ill see if I can get your avatars on all threads, but for right now it is a picture that you can change, and that will appear next to your name when you comment on posts.

Follow the White Elephant
The Raven has uncovered an interesting rumor…..Follow me at your own peril, Anai Kondan.
“White elephant” as a term for a burdensome or useless object comes from an almost certainly apocryphal tale about the King of Siam (the country now known as Thailand). According to legend, white elephants were so venerated in Siam that when one was found it automatically became the property of the King, and it was a grave crime to ride, beat, neglect or kill a white elephant.Now, keeping an elephant is a ruinously expensive proposition unless you can generate income using the critter for labor or transportation. The King, it is said, realized that the special status of his white elephants, coupled with their appetites, gave him a handy weapon against his foes. Anyone who displeased his majesty was given a white elephant as a royal gift, and within months, unable to do anything with it apart from feeding it, the recipient was invariably ruined. Thus “white elephant” came to mean an object for which one has no use, and which may even represent a substantial energy drain, and eventual ruin.

Getting It
I must say, that as a group things are meshing very well. Im personally seeing much growth in the characters and also the people behind the masks per se.
I personally felt something “click” when the story tellah dinged the ding at the end of the last exhale… It felt like a spark in my brain, or a door opening…
I think it was Craig last night who mentioned that it no longer feels like the brat pack, plus two… We have worked hard and overcome much already to even make this pack work. This has laid a great foundation that the characters can build on…making them stronger though REAL bonds and experiences…
Its funny, I feel like we have the same praise and say the same things concerning gaming, magic, group mind… It is however a conversation we can have over and over… as what is created in gaming can leak into and influence “real life” ... Case in point, this week for me. Did Rory really make me get into some scuffles this week ??
Of course not !! Rory is only a fictional character that lives in my head. wink
Did i think, when a hat was flicked off my head … “WWRD” (What would Rory do?) Absoutly !!
